The students and faculty of the Healing Oasis Wellness Center would like to thank each of the following friends for helping teach VSMT, VMRT and Advance Neurology to all of us. Learning would have been impossible without their help!
IN MEMORIAM

“Teddy” Rivera: Like all good things, it must come to a new beginning. Teddy helped us start both the Healing Oasis Veterinary Hospital and the Healing Oasis Wellness Center. She retired about 2 years ago (declined social security benefits) and was very geriatric and set in her ways. She was one of the best teachers that any student could asked for. She started her new beginning April 8th, 2009. As recent as today, when you least expect it, you get glimpse of her. She will be missed and will meet again...but not yet.
IN MEMORIAM
Johnny Bravo was a beautiful palomino horse that was rescued about 8 years ago. Once he arrived at the “O” we fell in love with him (he arrived the same day as “Isaac”). Johnny Bravo could never hide his love for Purdee and had to always be by her side (no questions about it!). He was a great teacher, very patient with the students, thin and always had a smile on his face. Since he was geriatric (only a couple of teeth left) he had several pathologies that made him who he was...a Palomino Stud! Johnny Bravo started his new life April 1st, 2009. Soon we will include some of his pictures (we are trying to figure out which side is his best!).
IN MEMORIAM:
Isaac after being rescued May 2003 Isaac (the “i” pod) three months after being rescued. He improved tremendously!
Isaac (AKA. The “i” pod) passed away in late 2004 after helping teach several VSMT classes. All of the students and faculty will miss him sorely.
